We were married 11.15 A.M then went home and had dinner then had some fun in the afternoon with the guests and then went to our own home on the 5 o’clock train and arrived here at seven o’clock. Nice weather but rained in the evening.

Stormy weather. Richard went to work. I stayed at home in the forenoon and in the afternoon I went in the stores and in Richards shop. I wrote a letter to Mama. Mrs Brown and daughter was here to see us in the evening. We received letters from Uncle William and Helene.

Cloudy weather. Richard went to work. I visited Mrs Rockett in the afternoon and in the evening Richard and I went into the stores and Library and got a book.

We got up at eight o’clock went to Church and then ate dinner then we went out and made Elliots a visit and brought home the little dog. In the evening we wrote seven letters to Maybelle, Mamie, Laura, Saboch, Uncle William, Father Eisold, Lynn Strickard. Nice weather.

It snowed. Richard went to work. I took the letters to the P.O. and visited Mrs Brown a little while. Mrs Rockett was here to see me a little while. We received letters from Tosca, Laura, and Curt and Mamma and I wrote a letter to Mamma.

Nice weather. Richard went to work. I stayed home the forenoon and went in Richards shop the afternoon and write a Postal Card home.
December 1, 1897
Nice weather. Richard worked. Papa and Mamma came here at two o’clock on the train and went home at five o’clock. I took them at the Depot until they were gone. Miss Brown was here to see me in the forenoon.

Nice weather. Richard worked. I went in the stores and in Richards shop. Received a letter from Maybel Whitney.

Lousy weather. Richard worked. We went at noon and had our pictures taken. Martha went with Mrs. Brown to the Doctor. I fell down the back stairs it was so icy.

Rainy weather. Richard worked. Martha was over to Mrs Brown to pay the rent and went home to Ludlow on the 5.03 train.

Nice weather. Nettie and Bertha Seuss and Clara Findeisen was here. They stayed here and ate dinner with us then Martha and the girls went to Florence to see some German people and got back just in time to catch the 5.35 train. Richard was home with Auntie.

Nice weather. We went to church in the forenoon then we came home and ate dinner and then we to a walk to the Hockanum Ferry and to the Hospital and looked at the stock in the evening we read papers.
